Team Rawalpindi
Team Rawalpindi Squad
To wrap up the eight-team roster, we have the rebranded Rawalpindi franchise (formerly known as Multan Sultans).
Purchased by Walee Technologies for a record-shattering PKR 2.45 Billion, they are now the most expensive team in PSL history. Despite the move from Multan, they kept their iconic captain and built a formidable bowling attack during the February 11 auction.
Rawalpindi Full Squad (PSL 11)
Rawalpindi made the biggest splash of the auction by signing Naseem Shah for a record price.
Squad Highlights
The “Pindi Boys” Pace Attack: With Naseem Shah, Mohammad Amir, and the death-overs specialist Zaman Khan, Rawalpindi arguably possesses the most dangerous pace attack of the 2026 season.
Aggressive Direct Signing: After surprisingly going unsold in the main auction rounds, Australian sensation Jake Fraser-McGurk was snapped up as the team’s Direct Overseas Signing to provide explosive power at the top.
Solid Leadership: Mohammad Rizwan continues as captain, ensuring the winning culture of the former Sultans carries over to the new Rawalpindi identity.
Management: The franchise is overseen by Inzamam-ul-Haq (President of Cricket Affairs).
