Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen PSL 11
Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen Squad
The Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen are one of the two brand-new expansion teams for PSL 11 (2026). Owned by the FKS Group, the franchise has quickly built a “global” identity by signing several US-based players and an Australian Test legend.
Here is the complete squad for the Kingsmen’s debut season:
Retained & Direct Signings
Since they were a new team, their “retentions” were technically pre-auction signings used to build their initial core.
Saim Ayub (Platinum – PKR 12.60 Crore)
Marnus Labuschagne (Direct Overseas Signing – Australia)
Usman Khan (Diamond – PKR 4.62 Crore)
Maaz Sadaqat (Emerging – PKR 3.50 Crore)
Akif Javed (Gold – PKR 1.96 Crore)
Players Bought in the Auction
The Kingsmen focused on high-pace bowling and dynamic middle-order hitters during the February 11 auction.
Team Management
Head Coach: Jason Gillespie (Current Pakistan Test Coach)
Fielding Coach: Grant Bradburn
Assistant Coach: Craig White
Home Ground: Niaz Stadium, Hyderabad (Sindh)
Squad Highlights
The “Houston” Connection: Living up to their name, the team signed three prominent USA-based players (Hassan Khan, Shayan Jahangir, and Hammad Azam), bridging the gap between the PSL and Major League Cricket (MLC).
Top-Order Explosion: A top three potentially featuring Saim Ayub, Sharjeel Khan, and Usman Khan (or Kusal Perera) makes them one of the most aggressive batting units on paper.
The Saim Ayub Investment: By securing Saim for 12.6 crore, the Kingsmen made him the highest-valued player in the entire league, signaling they intend to build the franchise around him for years to come.
