Niqab rose through the ranks of Karachi’s regional age-group cricket before making his international debut.
2025 Asia Cup Debut: He was one of seven players to make their debut during the opening match of the 2025 U19 Asia Cup against Malaysia. He made an immediate impact by picking up a wicket to help bowl Malaysia out for just 48 runs.
Asia Cup Final Performance: In the historic final against India (Dec 2025), he bowled a very economical spell of $2/38$ and contributed a handy $12^*$ runs with the bat, helping Pakistan secure the title.
Domestic Record: He holds the record for being one of the youngest players to score a fifty at the Under-19 level for Pakistan, having smashed a $75$ against Australia in a youth series in early 2023 when he was only 13.
