PCB Unveils ODI and T20I Squads for Pakistan Women’s Tour of South Africa

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the white-ball squads for the Women in Green’s upcoming tour of South Africa. Set to begin on February 10, 2026, this multi-format series is a vital building block for Pakistan as they prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup coming up this June.

Rising star Fatima Sana will lead both the ODI and T20I squads, continuing her tenure as the team looks to find momentum in Proteas conditions.

Fresh Blood: Maiden T20I Call-ups

The selection committee has signaled a move toward youth by including two uncapped players in the T20I lineup:

  • Saira Jabeen: An explosive batter ready to make her mark.
  • Humna Bilal: A right-arm fast bowler brought in to bolster the pace attack.

Key Returns to the ODI Squad

Several experienced names have been recalled to the 50-over squad after missing recent selections. Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroza, Tasmia Rubab, and wicketkeeper Najiha Alvi all return to the 15-member ODI unit, adding depth to the top order and bowling department.

Tour Itinerary: From Potchefstroom to Durban

The tour kicks off with a three-match T20I series, followed by a 50-over warm-up and a three-match ODI series.
